Baguio City, 24 Hour Amazing Race

New York feels!
To clinch a 24 hour Baguio City trip, one does not need a planned itinerary.  Yes! So ironic, but me and my friends had this wild experience.  It all started when we attended Lek's wedding at Viveri Hotel in Alabang. Just right after dinner around 8 PM, everybody just decided to go up Baguio City.  Well, most of us came from Iloilo City where it must be an intention to visit Bagiuo since you still be travelling by plane or ship to arrive greater Manila.

Cold!!  Hug me tight!
Service:  L300 Van with extra driver joined as his alternate. Driver had serviced also the wedding. Been easy to decide going up Baguio since of the available service.  Highly recommendable driver. For contact number, kindly email me.  (Haven't ask approval yet to publish his contact number)

Number of persons:  10 (ten)

Here is our wild travel "itinerary":
1.  2:00 AM Pick up time at Pasig
2.  3:30 AM Stop Over at McDonald Lakeshore
2.  6:30 AM Baguio City, Lion Head
Langga, Me, Joan and Cacai
3.  6:30 - 12: 00 Midnight
   Breakdown of Events
  Stop 1 The Mansion
  Stop 2  Wright Park
Stop 3  Mines View Park (had breakfast)
Stop 4  Christmas Village (no show yet!)
  Stop 5  PMA (had lunch)
  Stop 6  Good Shepherds Sisters
Stop 7  Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto
  Stop 8  Burnham Park
Stop 9  SM City Baguio (as in, No Aircon, had dinner)
4.  9:30 PM Back to Christmas Village (with show already, yey!)
5.  10:30 PM Ukay-ukay at Downtown
6.  12:00 Midnight Pull out back to Manila
7.   6:00 Arrival at Pasig

Tips:
1.  We ate breakfast at a carinderia outside Mines View Park for a price of around Php 50.00 for rice, 1 side dish and a cup of coffee. Contended!
2.  For lunch at  carinderia again inside PMA camp, for around 60.00 pesos.
3.  Dinner, well we leveled up a bit. At SM Baguio Foodcourt.  Around 150.00 pesos each.

Best Finds for me!
1.  Shawl:  Bought at a "pasalubong" store down Our Lady of Lourdes for 100.00
2.  Knitted jacket with hood:  200.00 pasalubong stores down Our Lady of Lourdes
3.  Ube Jam:  I think it was around 150.00 per one bottle at Good Shepherds.
4.  Shirts, PMA Jacket, Ref magnet and keyholders:  At PMA Shops but just along the park it is much lesser as those located near PMA buildings.
5.  Neck pillow at 100.00 pesos at ukay-ukay.

I wish i could go back to Baguio with my family!  Everything is so worth it.  If only i have the resources to acquire a piece of land at Summer Capital of the Philippines, I would!

The people, the scenery, the foods and the weather is definitely a must experience! I love you Baguio!  Will be seeing you again, soon!
